This episode guide is incomplete, but I’m working my way through the whole series, revising some of my original descriptions and filling in all the ones I missed. This time I am trying to note various milestones, like the first appearance of new characters, products advertised, and any special features for each episode.

I would like some information on how I may buy all the graet Gildersleeve radio shows as well as his movies he made. Any info on the above will be greatly appreciated. Send any or all info to . Mr. Thomas Schapers 4260 Main St. Suite # 4 V Flushing, N.Y. 11355 Or to the above E/ mail address Thank you
The episode guide on this website seems to be missing several seasons–I thought “Gildersleeve” ran until 1958, although 15-minute, pre-recorded episodes in its last years, one year concurrent with the 1955-56 TV version.
But to answer your query, Mr. Schapers, there are 588 episodes of the show at this website (in mp3 format), all downloadable for free:

There are also a smaller number of episodes of the TV version available at several public domain sellers (easily searchable on the Web), more of which I wish were available. If anyone has all or most of them (or even more than a dozen or so of the 39 episodes filmed), please post here on how to obtain.
Thank you.
