Character actor Hans Conried played Oliver Honeywell, Marjorie’s wimpy, hypochondriac friend in several early episodes of the program.
Conried had a long and distinguished career, performing in many movies, radio and television programs. He is perhaps best remembered for his roles as Uncle Tonoose on the Danny Thomas Show and as the voice of villain Snidely Whiplash on the Dudley Do-right cartoons, featured on the Rocky and Bullwinkle programs.
