Day 8: January 8, 2010
I love this little red cottage with decorated with hearts that looks like a honeymoon cottage in an old cartoon. It’s been for sale for a long time, and I have taken so many photographs of it that I really feel like it’s mine. I am always slightly relieved when I go by and see it’s still for sale, but I do wish someone would buy it and be happy here — it looks so empty and forlorn.
About Asbury Grove:
Asbury Grove in Hamilton, Massachusetts, was established in 1859 as a Methodist summer camp meeting, and just celebrated its 150th anniversary as an active Christian community. The Asbury Grove Historical District was accepted for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places in November, 2009, #09000935.
